When you go outside, there’s pollution; if you stay within four walls, you suffer from headaches and irritation. If you want to go out in the evening to enjoy a snack, today’s younger generation faces high blood pressure and elevated sugar levels, along with a few other unwanted conditions. When you wake up and decide to go for a walk, it’s already one o’clock at night by the time you return from the office. For all these inconveniences, there’s a peaceful place in Bangalore where you can sit and enjoy healthy food called Just Be.
The food here is prepared without using oil; instead, it’s baked. Instead of milk, they use coconut milk and almond milk. The statue of Buddha at the entrance of the restaurant helps you forget all your suffering and pain. The healthy food here purifies the body.
The restaurant was started by Nidhi Nahata, who has disproved the myth that vegetarian food isn’t tasty. Every dish here is made from nutritious, natural plant-based ingredients. Nidhi, a mental health expert and lifestyle coach, firmly believes that our mind reflects what we eat. Despite the competition in the hospitality world, Nidhi did not start this organic restaurant with business intent. Greater priority is given to mental and physical health here. There is no doubt that any food ordered from the menu will be clean, tasty, and healthy.
For this year’s Onam, the Rajneethi political consultancy brought us to Just Be. Just seeing the lunch menu was enough to fill the stomach. It included items like Idiyappam, Stew, Kadala Curry, Malabar Paratha, Boiled Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Appalam, Ada Pradhaman, Paruppu Payasam, Tender Coconut Payasam, Sugar Cane Juice, Butter Milk, Banana Chips, Mango Pickle, Lemon Pickle, Puli Inji, Shakara Verathy, Jackfruit Chips, and Beetroot Pachdi.
Everything was wonderful. If you visit Bangaluru, you must definitely visit Nidhi Nahata’s Just Be restaurant in Sadashivanagar.
